    Understanding Teleship's Billing and Payment Processes

    Payment Methods

    Teleship accepts multiple payment methods to provide flexibility for our customers. Available payment options include:

    Credit and Debit Cards

    We accept major credit cards and all card transactions are processed securely and compliantly through Stripe.

    Monthly Invoicing

    Qualified business customers may apply for monthly invoicing with net-30 terms for shipping (net-15 for duties/taxes). Eligibility requires a credit check and minimum shipping volume.

    Billing Cycle and Invoices

    Our billing processes are designed to be transparent and predictable:

    Pay-as-You-Go

    Standard customers are charged at the time of shipping label creation. Billing is per-shipment with no monthly fees or minimums.

    Monthly Billing

    Customers on our Business and Enterprise plans receive consolidated monthly invoices. Invoices are issued on the 1st of each month for the previous month's shipping activity.

    Download receipts, invoices, and view top-ups from your Teleship dashboard under Settings > Billing.

    Play by the Rules: No Additional Charges Guaranteed

    At Teleship, we strive to bring full transparency to online shippers, by making sure that we provide comprehensive costs without surcharges. Nevertheless, there are certain precautions that we need to take as a business: 

    • All rates include the following surcharges: residential, remote areas surcharges, current third-party fuel surcharge and FX.
    • Billable weight for pricing is calculated as the maximum of scale/dead weight and volumetric weight (calculated as length (cm) x width (cm) x depth (cm) divided by 6,000).
    • For on-demand customers (small shippers without contract), Teleship reserves the right to revise the shipping rates and these will be always presented to shipper when purchasing a label by API/app.
    • For large contracted customers, any changes of fuel surcharge and FX will be passed through at cost without any mark-up, to be notified to Client in advance of effective rate change.
    • Special handling fees for oversized or non-standard packages
    • Return shipping fees for undeliverable packages
    • Package insurance premiums (if selected)

    Teleship reserves the right to apply surcharges if information has not been manifested accurately, such as complete address, commodity type, restricted commodities, correct size and weight. Any fees or penalties arising from inaccurate declarations or shipments of commodities will be passed to shippers. For more information, please refer to our Terms of Use and Restricted Commodities.
